I was one of the first hundred thousand people to register, and I have seen different versions for different operating systems.

PhICQ is easily one of the best I have used. Because of its simplicity, anyone who needs to chat among friends will feel right at home with PhICQ. The interface is very easy to use and signing up for a new account is simple.

However, although I do use it everyday, I am hard-pressed to give it a five-cow rating. At this time it doesn't support many of the features that I love with ICQ. File transfer is non-existant as are all the talk features I usually use so much. Still, it is great for instant messaging people.
